AEM EMS & Infinity Services

You may have landed here via Google search results, by word of mouth, or AEM support has sent you this way – regardless, welcome!

I’ve been offering AEM EMS Series 1 & 2 repair services since 2015. AEM has stopped providing warranty services for the Series-1 EMS for some time now. They’ve recently stopped supporting Series-2 and more recently the Infinity series 3/5/7 – big bummer until now!

All Series 1+2 EMS repair jobs will go through a complete visual inspection and full bench testing procedure on top of the issue the EMS is being sent in for. See the list below for what entails an EMS repair job. Upon completion, a diagnosis report will be emailed and finally shipped back to you.

**Coming Soon Service** Series-1 to Series-2 upgrade.

Note: Repair services for EMS Series-4 are not available at this time.

*NEW* Infinity Series 3/5/7 “UNBRICKING”, Bench Testing, and USB Port Repair Services.

AEM has now discontinued repair services for their Infinity 3/5/7 model line. We offer three services for the Infinity ECU: “Unbricking”, basic bench testing, and USB port replacement. “Bricking” is when an Infinity ECU becomes unresponsive/dead after the following occurs:

  • Loss of COMS when uploading/downloading/updating unit
  • Power cycling vehicle too soon during a software upload/download/update
  • Power cycling (vehicle on/off) surges

“Unbricking” is a software procedure we perform that brings an Infinity back to life.

We also offer basic Infinity bench testing which we can check all vitals of the unit and find out if something is failing internally. This does not include any internal repair work at all, only testing. We do not offer any internal repair services for the Infinity as it is a very complicated unit to repair.

Lastly, we offer USB port replacement repair at an additional cost.

Repair Fees

AEM EMS Series 1 & 2 Repair Fee: $250 flat rate, per EMS.

AEM Infinity Series 3/5/7 “Unbricking” and/or Bench Testing Fee: $250 flat rate, per Infinity.
Infinity USB port replacement: $150 in addition to flat rate fee.
Includes return shipping fees for U.S. domestic customers. International shipping fees are not included and will need to be calculated.

Basic bench testing will check for any problems the Infinity may have and will include a diagnosis sheet. Bench testing does not include any repair services as we do not offer internal Infinity hardware repair work at this time.

USB port repair is the only physical hardware repair we offer for the Infinity ECU. This port is known to become damaged from excessive use. USB port repair is an additional fee.
